Man don't start giving advice again... BTL's having the best lows over all other subs is absurd. Sounding hallow is what everyone complains about with DD but, it is all in the box design. His sound good because he knows how to use his equipment.

its my opion,what are you talking about..out of every sub i have heard, btl sounds the best..well besides the sp4. (mtx 9500, Hdc3,Hdc4,DD,Type R,Re mxt,Kicker..Whatever) you dont know nothing

You have no idea what a good sounding sub is like if you think the btl and sp4 are king of the hill. Take your nuts off of Fi for a second.

Aren't you 17/18 years old? Anyways you said it was the best sounding sub you have heard besides the Sp4. If you ever heard any Stereo Integrity subwoofer you mind would be blown. This TC Sounds LMS Ultra 5400 18" DVC Subwoofer 293-666 will do some lows crushing.

Nope Im 23, and i have never heard a lms but i have seen and heard a lot of good things about them. i have heard that the sp4 is around the same level as that same sub by a guy who has owned both. how true that is, idk. but its something about the btl and sp4 that amazes me, i guess it may be the fullness of the sound that it produces. Just out of all of the subs i have owned and heard they sound the best to me at this point in time, that may change tho but not as of yet

If you want something customized look for a deep motor, long coil, and a 12" Ti frame to go with it and have someone build it up. A motor like an NS v.2 with lots of clearance would do well, or TC 3HP, etc, etc.
