So the plans have changed yet again. I ordered another amp (Orion 2002) and 2 more sets of speakers. I ordered a pair of Dayton 8s and 6 1/2s. I will use my 2nd 4002 to power the 8s and 6 1/2s and the 2002 to power all of my tweets. Updated product pics as they arrive.

Received my 5th and final amplifier today for my tweets (new Orion 2002). My pair of 6 1/2s and 8s will be here on Monday along with my HU. Build time should commence in the next 2-3 weeks. Stay tuned...

So I got a lot of deadening done this weekend (approximately 150 sq ft down) but still have 100 more sq ft to go //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. I had no idea how long and painful this job would be! It took my approximately 22 hrs of straight work this weekend just to lay the deadening down. I still need to finish the front floor panels, 2nd layer on trunk, complete rear deck and passenger door and do a 1-2 more layers on the rear quarter panels and trunk lid. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I will post up pics of the work progress I was able to get completed this weekend and the results later. However, for now I got some more goodies in the mail today!

So I started off my deadening project with my trunk (which was a complete **** storm). I had decided to deaden my trunk previously with Peel & Seal (the cheap alternative), which held up for a while but still is not the best way to do the job if you want it done correctly. When I first pulled everything out of my trunk I found that the whole flooring was completely soaked and there was also about 2-3 inches of water sitting in the spare tire wheel well (ugh!). I pulled the drain plugs in order to remove all of the water and began to thoroughly clean the trunk out with Acetone. The factory deadening had become slightly rotted and was coming up along with most of the original peel & seal application so I decided to pull it all up and start fresh.

Anyways, I found the culprit for the water being in the trunk and resolved the issue. I then began deadening away! Fyi - if you ever decide to do a full car deadening project by yourself make sure you give yourself at least 3-4 days in order to get it completed. I was in my trunk alone for almost 10 hours straight! Here is some of the progress/results that I have accomplished thus far...let me know if you all would like any specific pics of anything else.
