n00b - best 8" sub?

first off, i have no experience in car audio. i work for an auto performance company so if anyone needs performance parts let me know. i've had lots of experience in engines trannies etc, but NO experience in I.C.E.

i need a specific sub that fits a specific stealthbox i bought for my car. i have narrowed down my choice to two...

1. Kicker CompVR - this is the sub most pple with my stealthbox use so i know it fits. it seems to be fine, handling around 200 watts with dual 2-ohm voice coil

2. JLw1v2 - it's a bit smaller than the kicker so it should fit fine. JL is a personal fav brand of mine, but it seems to handle less power

are there any other 8" sub yall would recommend? if not, which one out of those 2 would be a better choice? also, a little off topic, but what amp is good for them?

i have no idea what amp i will be using and suggestions for amps would be great

i usually listen to rap/hiphop. looking for good sound equality but good bass too. i love bass but don't want it sounding like shit

airspace is probably very small cause it's a stealthbox. how about the 2 subs i suggested? i know everyone here are audio enthusiasts, but i'm not really comfortable buying stuff i never heard of (aka what yall have recommended so far)

all 3 no go...too deep. the depth is 11cm which is about 4.25in...RLi is 15cm deep while assassins and id is about 4.75in so none will work
