My Type R's and my Amp Setup Help

Ok I have two alpine Type R's 1221-D and a Profile 2 channel 800sx. I have the amp bridged parralel with my subs to run 600watt rms at 2 ohms. The amp setting for HZ goes down to 40HZ or all the way to 130HZ both the subs are in vented boxes but Im not sure what there tuned for. I got the measurements from an Alpine dealer. Anyway what do you guys suggest I set my amp at??? Is there anyway I can Get lounder SPL from these subs? It just seems like my friends 2 Audiobahn 10's that he was running off a RF 200.2 in a bandpass has more SPL than my Two ALpine Type R's whats up with this cause obviously im doing something wrong.
