I absolutely love it. Seriously, has to be the easiest headunit to operate I've ever personally dealt with. Every feature is just a few touches a way. The volume being push button as opposed to a knob doesn't bother me at all. If I need to put it down in a hurry I can hit the mute on the remote or steering wheel and it'll cut it down instantly. How do you like that w205? I have one I am about to install into my Yukon but I'm starting to have regrets. I noticed it doesn't have a volume knob just volume buttons and thats going to be a downside. Other than that, how do you like it?
All of that is easily accessable and adjustable. The headunit is hooked up so that it only plays movies while parked. I didn't even want the temptation there for movies to be able to be played while in drive. 99% more than likely I would never do it. I'm pretty disciplined about that, but I didn't want to even chance it. So unless I'm in park, it won't play. You'll get audio, but the screen blacks out.Sounds good, but what about the infamous alpine dvd enable thing and setting enable thing where to change the time or bass/treble you have to do the whole parking brake ordeal. Did you get the TR-7 or something?
Thanks. It sure does [box]. It really hits very solid. Sounds very good too.Clean *** install, and a well designed and built box is what makes that 500watts go so far
