If it's the secondary battery, I would get rid of it and run a HO alternator instead, same price as the battery, and it would solve you're problem for sure... As long as its not that amp itself, or anything before it in the system..
Even better .... I say get a DMM, see where the problem is before spending all your cash on something that may be nothing. For all you know it could be a bad RCA or something, and I know i'd rather spend $20, instead of $300.
