that's why I'm deciding on either the HC or SE... XXX is out of the question for me. THe dealer only has one in his possession anyhow.

I've also gotten hold of a place where I can acquire quality 1000w @1ohm amps very cheap. But they only produce a minimum of 1000w, everything is over 1000... and one single SE can only take like, what 500w in a ported box? dang... can't afford two SE's, no space to install them either.

but.... they also make 3000w@0.5ohm amps too...

it;s a prototype, but it's blown two quadVC atomic drivers.

of course, alt upgrades here are VERY expensive... getting a 200A alt is slose to purchasing the darn XXX here...

my 160A was ridiculously expensive enough for me.

rewinding alt don't come TOO cheap either.

besides, the darn 1.8L LPG engine wouldn't be able to turn a 200A alt.

Well, it is more than possible to get your hands on a 1500w RMS amp that can drop really low, etc, etc....

you know what? If the talks with ED don't pull through, I just might have to start my own brand of amps and export to the US. I don't design them, I don't make them, but the OEM mftrs are good...very good. wouldn't believe what kind of companies they've made amps for.

Maybe I could start getting some people to group up here in CA.com, get a bulk purchase thing going on... cause it wouldn't cost TOO much to post either to the US.

hehe, i wish I could make custom brands for each and everyone, but I dont' think that'd be very cost-effective...

perhaps special edition team **, like team caraudio...that'd be exclusive

well the Amps came in today! now i got to try and fingure out where to put everything! and the wiring shouldnt be a problem since it is all new i rebuilt the car from the ground up! sandblasted frame to painted. anything with rust got replaced. well heres a pic of the amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif gonna do all the wiring tuesday after this long weekend. and hopefuly send the car in for the box within the next couple weeks.
