If you can't get good sound for 200-300 then all car audio is overpriced. I looked at the CDTs, but they seem to have hit or miss reviews. Which ones do you recommend?Frankly 300 won't buy you any great speakers. I personally like the cdt es line. Morel is overpriced.
Grab the drt26s and the Es6 mids. You won't regret it.If you can't get good sound for 200-300 then all car audio is overpriced. I looked at the CDTs, but they seem to have hit or miss reviews. Which ones do you recommend?
It don't look good. 100-2.5k should be almost flat. That roll off up top is nasty.Ran outside and did a measurement real quick. Here is a screenshot. Doesn't look near as bad as it sounds.
Yeah and it shows similar issues outside of the car/ with the door open, ect.. Which is why I was considering other speakers. Would you move forward with that? Or buy processing. It don't look good. 100-2.5k should be almost flat. That roll off up top is nasty.
That's pretty much what I try and tune anything that is for music listening to. But Just can't seem to get there. Which means new speakers or more processing.Try to build the Harmon house curve. That's what most of us end up liking the most, it does well across all the categories.
Agreed but the better that speaker the less tuning that must be dome.Processing is the only way to tune.
Not the case at all. Car will determine what's needed.Agreed but the better that speaker the less tuning that must be dome.
Option1 -keep the speakers I have and get a mini dap
Option 2- buy Better speakers, get more dsp if needed.
The Speakers I'm using are 120.00 retail.
Well I guess I'll order me up a Mini DSP and see what I can get done. Only thing I don't like is a .9v max output. But thats what amp gain is for I guess. Not the case at all. Car will determine what's needed.
DSP, learn how to use it, figure out what you can't fix, fix install as much as you can, still not good get speakers
