answer in bold. they tell you what to look for and you keep pickin out junk, listen to what they have to say and you will be satisfiedSystem Expectations:
*Want the lows, especially in the 30-50hz region to really punch, more emphasis on the 35-45hz hip hop bass, I want the lows to hit nicely, and with a good 115-130dB loudness.
Now based on this information I have a couple questions.
1. With my alternator listed above, would my car be able to handle pulling 500/900 watts RMS from the respective amps listed.
2. I don't want my speakers to play bass. I want the subs to play bass, I want the speakers to play everything else, do I need to have a 5 channel amp to achieve this, since my HU doesn't have a crossover, or does the subs amp handle this?
3. For the budget price of no more than $300 what other combination of subs, and amps could I look into?4. Will the subs listed be able to handle 450watts RMS if I choose the bigger 900 watt RMS amp?
5. Will the subs be noticeably louder with the KAC-9105 at the same volume vs the KAC-8105, or is it just better efficiency at that point?
6. Is the calculation 500 watts / 12 volts = 41 amps correct, will 500 watts RMS pull 41 amps, and will 900 watts RMS pull 75 amps from the alternator?
7. What else should I know, anything, as I want to be as educated on the subject as possible, so I don't have to worry about something going wrong once I do purchase the system.
Just your typical audio noob that thinks he knows more than we do. I guess we should stop offering advice if he don't listen the first time...whats the point in asking for advise if you arnt going to take it?
get one skar 12 with a hifonics 150 dollar amp and you'll be louder and sound better than the subs you postedThe only 2 recommendations I got was those 2 used RE Subs and Skar subs. Those RE subs were in my budget but they were used, so I'm iffy. I'd rather have new equipment. The other recommendation was Skar subs, and those are considerablly out of my budget. $140 per sub x 2 = $280 leaving me $20 for an amp. So thats out of my budget as well. You don't have to demean somebody that knows less than you. I'm pretty sure when you started out, you thought that some good stuff was really bad stuff. Help me out here, instead of just making comments that bolster your ego and diminish mine.
op better listen to this !! or waste your money, not be satisfied and waste more money.i guarantee you op,you buy junk, you WILL be spending more money.better to save up a little and do it right the FIRST timego to the classified section here and look for some dc, sundown, ssa, dd, skar, obsidian and many more. u might want to save a little more cash instead of wasting ur money on ****** equipment.
with the budget u have used is the best option.. also because something is used does not mean it wont work 100%.. everything i have except the hu in my car is used.. i honestly would rather run used and save the money than buy new.. i would say 80-90% of us on here use used eq or have bought used eq to run instead of new and was pleased with it... even with my comp build i plan on doing 50-70% of it will be usedThe only 2 recommendations I got was those 2 used RE Subs and Skar subs.
