My new system

Hello. I am new to this site and was wondering if i could get some feedback on the system i just ordered. I used to have two 10 inch E types and loved them so i decided to upgrade to the 10 inch type R's. I decided to get the new ones so I got two SWR-1043's. I also ordered a new ported box. I got an attrend with 1.3 cubic feet volume per sub. I will be powering them with a 2009 Rockford t1500. I plan on hooking up these subs at 1 ohm so i can push more power to them. I believe my amp is rated for 1500 watts at 1 ohm. When i wired my car I used the rockford 4 gauge amp kit. My subs and box should be here by Saturday and I am super excited. This is by far the nicest system i have had so far. What do you guys think and do you have any ideas for me to help with my system? Thanks alot.

i would go with bigger wire , and what kind of box did you get? check to see if your geting bad voltage drops when you get it up and goin.

I am a little worried about the voltage drops. I figured i would see what it does first. My alternator is rated for 100-105 amps. My box is a brand called attrend here is a link to it. omg what is it tune to bro? you might of i mean YOU wasted your money sorry. as far as the voltage goes if it drops do the big 3 and get bigger wire. knu is your friend

Its a ported box, tuning is critical to mate to your subs, your vehicle, and the rest of your system. What's the tuning frequency of the box you just bought?

Unless you see something in that ad I dont see, it doesn't list the tuning freq, and its a complete crapshoot. Its probably tuned pretty high.

The only info they gave me was that is was tuned 35-44 hz.

Boxes are only tuned to one frequency man. Them giving you that sketchy info would make me even more skeptical on the quality of the box.
