i was so happy i when i got them i had to take some pictures.

My box i will be building(if anyone could give suggestions for better or see if there is any mistake to this diagram would be a lot of help)

i ordered two Hifonics BX1800D and a 170amp alternator and a lot of 0gauge wire and 12gauge speaker wire and a new yellow top.

for two of those i'd double up the baffle...thats just my opinion.

PS...doing that wouldextend your port length by 0.75 in. and lower your tuning. (it wouldnt have any affect on port displacement)

Ive used that box before and liked it..You dont have to double up the baffle either.

i would also suggest making that baffle dual faced....maybe doing it all the way around, or maybe just using 1in mdf

oh, i thought they were like 56 lbs each though. you dont think 112 lbs on a piece of 3/4 MDF is a little much?

the baffle is the face of the box the subs are mounted on

ohh ok. in the diagram how come " H " isnt used? if its not used should i just edit that piece out side i dont put it in there bymistake when building.

it's a generic design, the H is there in case the port has to be longer than the box is deep, in this case, it doesn't' so you only need the first part of the port

you can just take it out b/c you will not be using it

i'm confused. isn't H part of the port? isn't it inside the box? wouldn't removing it through off your tunning?

yes it is part of the port, but i'm going by the diagram at the top where it says H isn't used, i assumed RE just made a generic diagram and this one didnt' need H so they just said it instead of removing it

it did seem odd that it only need to be 13in deep and be tuned as low as it is, but maybe that's just me
