The car before the 240SX came out was the 200SX. When you bought the Turbo model, you got some real performance back in the Eighties. You also got a higher insurance bill...LOL! The 240SX was Nissan's attempt at making a sporty coupe but also one that would be easier for the buyer to insure since it didn't have all the Sturm und Drang of it's predecessor. I sure wish they would have kept the Turbo though as that was a real fun engine to flog!

I have a newer 200SX a 96 but it is basically a2 door Sentra though there are upgrades...but it is FWD unlike the 240sx being rwd ...The older 200sx's may of been rwds..but I'm unfamiliar wih them I have see a few and they seem to be rwd but I have never seen them up close...
