1989 Honda CRX Dx

well i pretty much stole this car from this lady that was selling it. The car is pretty much flawless inside and out for an 89. has no rust and 214,000 miles. had to get an automatic for the wife. bought this car because the price of gas and my escalade gets 16mpg max on the interstate. well i purchased this car for $1100 from a lady in chicago today. i found it on craiglist and luckily i found it when i did cuz i instantly emailed her and told her i had cash in hand and would pick it up this weekend because she said she had ALOT of people asking about it because she was only asking $1200. i even talked her down $100.

That cars a ticking time bomb. Thats around 450,000 Kms. Thats just bonkers.

lol my ford aerostar has almost 300,000 miles on it. its how u take care of a vehicle not how u mistreat it.

worst case , engine rebuilds on those are pretty cheap if you look around. my 96 chevy has 150k miles. my girls 01 accord has 130k. 214k is not bad at all imo.

i think your all nuts, ive had older civics like that come in at work with like 300k+ , if the bodys good keep buyin motors....one thing about the south compared to the north, our bodys rot and your motors blow..... but its easy enough to put the 2 together.....lol.....

wow that interior is probably the cleanest interior i've seen on a crx..

214k is not alot... honda's usually last to 300k-350k.

no plans for this car yet. i mean i have future plans but right now i bought it for the gas mileage. it gets anywhere from 35-45mpg. ALOT better than my escalade
