Umm humm...........Cause' you know years ago nobody knew about the CRXs and all. I mean that was the sole reason I was going to buy it, lol!u wont find any around here for 6-700. this is SPL ALLEY! kinda like tornado alley
That's because of the salty roads.......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Me personally would give twice as much money for a car of the same caliber if it came from the south instead of the north.....That car would pull 2-3k in the south. Especially since every one you see nowadays has been beaten to death by some teenager who thinks he has a race car. That car would have sold for 600-700 bucks were I live. Hell I looked at one about 3 years ago for 2k and only had 67,000 miles on it and a custom paint job, lol!
Yeah, dead giveaway that car has been abused besides the goofy ground effects or the $500 price tag is that both axles are bad and I put money saying the thing blows black smoke under acceleration. A CRX with no problems over 200k with the original engine had to be somewhat taken care of in it's life.Oh yeah, there is another thread up in the general section I believe with some kid getting a CRX...............for 500 dollars............with half the miles you got yours for. He takes off the goofy ground effects and puts some work into it, he will have just as nice a CRX as yours with lower miles.
I couldn't justify spending $307,000 on a cavalierMiles are fine. I just sold my dads 97' Cavalier which had $307k on it, and it still ran like a top.
swaps for these are like 600 max, so 600 bucks gets you a motor with 80k.. Older Hondas' are some of the best vehicles to own right now.nice find.worst case , engine rebuilds on those are pretty cheap if you look around. my 96 chevy has 150k miles. my girls 01 accord has 130k. 214k is not bad at all imo.
i think mine has about 220,000 on it now...it sits in my warehouse except when i drive it to about 8-10 shows a year...last year i drove it 8 hours to scrapin the coast show...with no probsI would never buy a car with over 200k on it. Hell I don't think I would buy one with a little over 1k on them. Hardknox is right for the most part. Depends where you are from in most cases. The one CRX I looked at was clean underneath. No rust or anything. Was painted recently, but they could only do so much to the underneath, but yeah, salt is a bish.
