What do you mean twice as wide?

In a dual chambered enclosure, the ports should be parallel. Otherwise, the tuning will be different which can inevitably cause the speakers to behave differently.

ok i made the **** box.... ports are the exact same width wide and deep.... have none of yall ever heard that pics can be discieving.... and that pic is of the bottom of the box so i didnt worry about lining up the sides on the bottom to keep it from sliding around inthe back of his jeep like other boxes have that we've put in there .... a part that is never seen so why the hell should it be perfect, and yes the box will eventoually be carpeted and that is why i painted the ports, i screwed the box in a hurry to get it done for blaze383 b/c his sub came in and we wanted to hear it which DOESNT matter since it will be carpeted and noone will see that shit.... the box is screwed and glued for all the dumbasses that asked, IMO no box should be made w/o being glued

Blaze, measure port wall 1, then measure port wall 2. From the picture it looks like they will be different measurements. It is not an optical illusion or camera angle.

He's right, as I said they need to be parallel to the first section. 2" in the front and 6" in the back doesn't work.

I am a dumbass for asking? After seeing this work I should be asking if you just randomly put pieces of wood together. Dont call me and others dumbasses, your friend asked for critcism and what was/could be wrong with the box, we are asking all the questions to find out all the info we could about the box, so that we could then properly critique it.
