My New Box Design!

Just thought id share my new box design for my ford ranger!!!

thanks to wasted ink and his great design,

heres r the pics of his design!!! the goal was to keep it shallow to allow room in my ext cab for storage and groceries etc! also wanted to to cover the entire back wall! now i gotta figure out where to mount my huge a$$ kicker zx700.5 channel!

can you get it any bigger in the space you have?

if so you could make a recess in it for your amp to mount to?

thats actually exactly how i had my last box built, pretty much the same as this, but amp recessed into it, it took up way to much space. im gonna upgrade my amp to the alpine pdx-5 when the cash comes so ill just mount that under the seat!

haha, well great minds think alike! mine is almost done, doing some extra sealing and then gotta find carpet!

id put the sub hole closer to the port opening on the left

just to get it as far away from the port opening inside the box as you can.

thats just what i try to do, might not really make a difference.

GRRRRR....i need a router!!! the rotozip just wont work. not i gotta wait till monday or so to take it to my buddies shop and have him cut out the hole.

If I moved it over anymore towards the port opening the magnet would hit the port on the inside of the box. There isn't much depth to it.
