Here are some updates.
I definitely needed to do some more work. Leaving them like that would have really bugged me. Also keep in mind that they will still be shot with the thicker textured SEM after these panels get to the point that I'm satisfied enough with them. I did some more work this afternoon since I had a good 4-5 hours of time to attack them. Heres some more updated pics:
Spot filled to get those trouble areas...
After sanding and a wipe down. I also sanded down the scuffed up areas on the panel that you could see highlighted above.
In the photo below, I highlighted some of the unusual looking spots in the photo above. The two spots in the top right are actually very smooth. The one on the right is a bit shiny because of he paint, making it stand out. The one on the left just didnt get hit with a good coat of paint so some of the filler color still shows through which is why its visible. The section in the lower part of the panel is going to be tough to make much better as the panel in stock form actually has a raised section there. Im hoping it will look better once I get some texture on there. The little dark spots are spray paint 'spatter' where the can wasnt cooperating. A little light wet sand will cure that.Thoughts?
