Okay so I have 1 12" P|3 DVC wired in series to be 4 ohms.
My amp has 4 speaker terminals instead of 2, but I thought it was a mono amp. What gives

How do I connect it properly given the fact my amp has 4 terminals and 1 12" DVC wired down in series to 4 ohm

The red boxes on the second pic show where I currently have the wires. Is this correct to run the sub properly at 4 ohms?
Also why is there 4 terminals on a mono block? That makes no sense to me its almost like there is two channels, but the amp is a mono block.

I'm targeting 40v for 400w so I need to make sure the speakers are properly connected to deliver the right voltage when checking.

Amp: KAC-9106D Kenwood

it doesnt matter how many terminals they have, if its a monoblock then all the negatives are bridged together internally same with the positives, its only one actual positive and negative terminal. All monoblocks do this for easy wiring when you have multiple subs.

Also why wouldn't you wire that P3 to 2ohms if that amplifier is capable of it? Which that amplifier is, it will increase your power and those subwoofers require power, I know I have a 10" P3 in a D2 setup.

Yeah they way I read it it came off as a D4 subwoofer not a D2 subwoofer. In the long run it might be better to pick up a 1 ohm capable amplifier and sell that one to recoup some of the loss, just an idea.

I use these and they work great. I splice them right before the LOC. One leg on the negative the other on the positive.

Some circuits do have a constant draw, if there is a load that uses it, like radio settings, but it's not a battery pushing out that voltage...
