well this is my first system and my first post so hello to everyone.

well i ordered 2 12's kickers l7's today got a deal on them and i was wondering what would be a good box to be built for these subs i want to go ported after reading about these subs being ported.

i figured i would go around 2.6net per sub so i need a box thats 5.2net after port and sub displacement

so i read up on how to make boxes and do the math this is what i came up with

internal measurements

24.5x29.5x15.5=6.5

minus .20 for sub displacement

leaves 6.3cuft

only other thing i need to do is figure out the port length and height for this box to be tuned at 33hz the port area if possible i would like to keep at 1.10 at the most

if possible could someone make me a sketch it would be most appreciated

well i would like to try myself for fun but i dont have all the proper tools so it prob wont end up right so in the end will have someone build it for me more than likely

yes i did and its kinda confusing lol i think my airspace is right and everything only thing i need to figure out is the port area how much and how to determine the size and the specs of it
