i had to build it in 2 pieces, then put it together in trunk. made sure it was sealed good

but im not sure how to set my gains right. im kinda afraid of putting it higher, the excursion on these subs is alot higher then normal, i think its because of being in such a big box.

my amp is directed 1500d, my HU is 2 volts (i think) and set with full base, and loud on (what ever the hell that is all i know is with it on made subs alot louder) no bass boost, and subs are getting about 300 watts rms, and are rated at 400rms. and gain is up about 1/3rd the way. so is this safe? or can i put it higher?

also whats a good cutoff frequency?

you should set your deck bass at 0, or flat, then adjust the gains on the amp. Always try to keep the deck settings at zero.

ya im trying to find some peel and seel, i went to home depot and lows today and couldnt find it. im going to try menards tomarrow hopefully ill find it thier...

lowes has it trust me, its back by the roofing shit, the workers couldnt find it but i finally found it,

ya i just went to menards and couldnt find it, didnt see ur message. i also tryed Lowes and Home depot, wtf! i looked everywhere asked people, closest i came to was Peel and Stick, in roofing section, i dunno. i think im going to go try a different home depot and try again, does anyone know for sure if Home Depot sells this?

amp work great, running at 1 ohm. though it does seem to warm up quick, and get pretty hot, it pounds the shit out of my subs,
