Didnt go to well, well it seemed that i wired everything right and my amp isnt turning on heres a little diagram of what i did. Also what confused me was behind the head unit was a couple extra wires that i dont know if they are needed to turn the amp on there were amplifier ground, chassis ground

You don't need a distribution block for the ground. I hope there aren't any fuses in that d-block either! Just go straight to chasis.

Sometimes not all the wires are used, you need to go through the HU harness and match to the vehicle harness.

If the amp isn't turning on when the HU is on, you haven't connected the Remote Turn on Wire, it is usually blue. You will need to run a separate wire from the HU blue to the amp. Connect that, and you should be fine.

I did i have the kicker wiring kit. The reason I used the distro block for the ground cause i didnt have one long enough to reach to my amp location. I ran the silver kicker remote wire to the blue one in the HU harness

if your remote wire is correct then try the following. Run a temporary wire on the outside of the car from the negative battery terminal to the amp ground input.

id run a small wire from your positive power wire from batt, to the remote wire input on amp. And see if it turns on, If not then do ground

your diagram doesn't show RCA wires, but that wouldn't affect the amp turning on... also, check the manual to see if you are using the remote wire. there are a few blue/white wires, and the manual will say which wires do what.

its a sony head unit and yes i do know the diagram does not show rca cause i know that doesnt effect whether it turns on or not. Also my positive and negative wires i hit them together and they sparked so i know i have good ground and power wires. So if i run a small wire from the positive batt to the remote input on the amp that can make it power to?

does the wire that you connected as your remote have anything written on it? i think you can use the wire with the end piece as your remote. I am not sure though. If they all have writing then read them or post what the blue wires say.

like others have said put the amp somewhere connect the 12v and ground terminals, then just bridge the 12v power terminal to the remote with a small piece of wire (btw the is a temp just to make sure the amp works) if this works and the amp turns on, which it should regardless if the car is on or not, then you just aren't picking up the right remote wire from the headunit, and thats where a meter comes in handy check all the wires in the off mode then check em all in accessory mode the one that switches from 0v to 12v is your remote.
