ok so this is my first install ever... and compared to most of you guy's work its prolly nothing because im 16 u prolly spend more on lunch than my budget :0 this is an evolving project so i have no true plans ill just for now ill post a vid of what i got a the moment and when i put all the stuff back in the right way... not using 12 gauge wiring with a homemade fuse holder :p and with the wires more hidden ill start putting up more pics but for now just to see what i got so far...

Hu: kenwood kdc mp8017

Amp: Alpine mrv-502

Sub Memphis audio pr 15" d4

Future plans...

Big 3 with 1/0

infinty kappa 6x8s on an alpine 4 channel

another memphis sub with a bigger amp dont no exactly which amp...

more "custom" box

jl midbass drivers on my current amp

and much more

and the video

i did it for a reason... i needed a temp install b4 i get real wiring... and i didnt feel like putting a hole in the firewall for a temp install i no its a horrible install but it's just like temp.... u didnt even get to see the home made fuse holder :p i bet ur first was better and i think amp does better now that i bridged it idk tho its in my room on a 15 amp psu so i cant tell for real yet thx for support from those of you who r positive... and the sub is rated for 250 rms so idk its pretty close if u look up the ratings... the amp is only supposed to be bridgible for 4ohms but so far it hasnt shut off on me and i got it bridged on 2 ohms so idk...

Don't let the ***-wipe boneheads on this site get you down. It doesn't matter how perfect your install is these ***-hats will say something negative about it. I often wonder what their motivation is behind their stupid *** comments, maybe it's the only way they can make themselves feel better by knocking other people's sh!t but I think if you dig a little deeper, the REAL reason they are a$$holes is because God gave them a little dick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

HAHA I didnt read the other posts before I made this pic, so Ill post it anyways

A wire in the door jam is NOT acceptable, if that gets pinched, BAD things can happen

Ouch man,but its ok my first install consisted of a walmart amp kit with the little fuse holder built in and 2 12" roadmasters and a legacy amp with no casing on it,BUT I did install the power wire Under the panels along the bottom. Two weeks later though the wire melted near the fuse because it was like a 200 watt max setup and i had about 400 going through it lol.

I would move the wire and clean up the unneeded mess. Your install can me much better, no matter what equipment. I made 2 10" old *** pioneers and a Old kenwood 2ch look good, I know you can do it with yours. Just take the time and clean it up.

on the focus there is no hole in the firewall factory and since the car isnt technically mine "my parents are crazy" they dont want me drilling so that was the next best thing heres some pics there a little better install than b4 still using 12 gauge wire cause im cheap tho... but the amp does say 12-8 guage is acceptable so it should be fine...

yes i no some of the screws are pointless i just got carried away but the box was only glued no screws and i plan on doing a recarpet or maybe just wait till i get new subs to make new box...

THere will be a factory hole in the firewall to put that wire through, easily, on every car.
Go do it
you've cleary have not worked the ford focus. on the focus you have to drill a hole. there are many cars that require you to drill a hole.

OP, carpet goes on after screws not the other way around.
