Well, firstly, those little braces really aren't going to help anything and they only add turbulence. If you're bracing the box, the port is the last place you want to do it in. You're damping a part of the box only inches away from other bracing (the panels themselves), so it would be more beneficial to put it in the chamber itself. Unless you round the edges over in the end, then you're going to meet some turbulence. Actually all the internal corners of the braces were rounded before the 2 main peices were put toghether. It just was not shown in the pictures.

I love the fact that you built the port like that.

I can't stand seeing 2 subs in a box with a slot port at one end of the baffle. It looks off balance. It might work but it's not aesthetically pleasing.
