Yeah, I will definitely be going. I'll drive my car there if I have it tuned well enough which is a good chance since there is still another week and a half.

nice, yeah I saw your sig said you have a subie lol.

I'm going NA though. My compression is gonna be at 12:1 so it wouldn't go too well lol. The head is stock but GSR cams. Maybe in a year or so I'll build the head since the bottom end already is and rev it up hella lol. I just like all motor because it's a bigger feat

I had a b16 block that I was going to build for a turbo but I need to start saving money so I sold it.

guy today at the shop had a v6 in his eg.. put down 246whp. my friend just put down 42?whp on stock block gsr with type r cams and of course turbo, but at 14lbs

that's crazy. Must have taken a lot of fabrication for the v6. was it out of an accord or something?

Have you gotten the chance to ride in your friends car yet though?

ya a few friends have turbo cars.. another has ls turbo hatch and both run mid 11's.. pull hella hard.

oh hey, and good job for being in hs. im in hs too and i built my own truck. people dont give us enough respect for what we can do. i guess the older guys get pissy when we can do more then they can.

I finally have everything I need! I got my honing tool, gasket kit, timing belt, rod bearings, main bearings, thrust washers and a piston ring filer today.

I already finished honing the cylinders and here are some pics right after I finished.

Well, the block was just about to be done yesterday but one of my piston rings chipped as I was putting it in. I ordered some replacements and they'll be here tomorrow.

It's been really exciting finally putting this long build back together. I was a little scared on how my bearing clearances were going to be but everything was in spec! The main bearings were dead on and the rod bearings were just about at the right spot but still in good spec.

That is when I finished boring out my block. 83 mm each piston since I love torque. I blow trannies every month but it's worth it.

lol, just kidding about all that. I the hole saw to make moon cuts into my valve cover for the skunk2 cam gears.

I just got off work and picked up my new piston rings. I put the piston in real quick and got some pictures of the almost complete motor.

I just have to do the following now

Put on the oil pump

Oil Pan

Finish putting new seals in the head

Put Water Pump on

Timing Belt

And all the other stuff like Intake Manifold and ******. I'm hopefully dropping it in next week!
