my door bass setup

Save your money and get a nice sub and amp. Unless you have Fiberglass Skills and know what you are doing this can not turn out well. Also the fact that if you were to do this right you would just put a 8 inch sub on the doors. Save your time and money and get a sub box and amp.

i have a sub and the box and i dont like it, i want front bass. as much as i can get out of it.

im trying to as much as possible keep the factory look of the car.

the door woofers are gonna be hidden as much as possible to blend it in with factory look.

kick pannels dont have enough depth to fit woofers.

id have to move the ECU and relays and wire harnesses out of the way and its gonna look like ***.

rear pannels have space but they are very flimsy not een enough to support alpine 6.5 coax with hpf less than 150hz they looks like they gonna fall off.

You mean the rear deck? Make a new one. It'll take like a half hour.

I want you to try these for the hell of it. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-877

if your subs are tuned correctly then you can't tell where they are in the vehicle. only around maybe, and i say maybe 60hz does it start to get directional but that is more the lower end of mid bass and i can understand wanting to move these frequencies as far forward as possible as the kick or hit you may feel usually comes in around 90hz to 100hz.

those are like computer speaker subs man.

yes i want in the door theres no space for 8" woofer there.

and im not talking abut direction im talking about delay.

Whats wrong with using an uncommonly small speaker that can play the range you want? Maybe try the next size up if you think the small one affects you dwn thr..

jk mang. get a few of them.

some people can't hear crappy sound as well as others. just get a pioneer 6x9 off ebay for cheap and pop it in there. if you aren't willing to install things correctly, it'll sound like crap no matter what speaker is in there, so don't waste your money. just don't go as cheap as lanzar.

all the advice is not a real advice on the topic.

im asking how can i make it work.

and you telling me oh no dont do this just do what everyone else does just put a sub in there.

i dont want a sub in my car...i want to get rid of it and still have bass.

i need help with making that setup work not how to do what i already done.

and yes i can do fiberglass and all the stuff i work at the shop

i just never had to do the wiring like that for speakers.

oh the other hand i can put 10 2" subwoofers that other dude posted here in each door.

or maybe build a wall in the backseat with 300 of those 2" woofers.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i ask for advice and you give me the wrong advice

you give me the prefab advice that you give to anyone that asks an audio related question

i was looking for help with that specific setup im gonna go with.

i dont understand why alot of you think its impossible or unwise to do.

i have a welder i have a shop and know what im doing for the most part

the speaker wiring and choosing the midbass is what i needed help with.

If you have good fabrication skills, I would say make some kicks for your 6.5 mids, put your tweeters in the a pllar all running from the xover and the kenwood amp. then the hole where the 6.5 cut the hole to fit a 7"-8" midbass speaker dedicated just for midbass and run off a totally different amp then the comp set you have.

theres no space for an 8 in the door without major mods.

anyway

please read carefully i already explained why im going with that specific setup no need to ask and answer same questions twice.
