live a bit longer and you will be shocked at the things people are willing to do over some of the most petty crap just for kicks. especialy in todays younger people where the moral compass is pointed due south

Not sure if that was sarcastic or not but I saw nothing wrong with that statement. It is general enough that you could never pinpoint a company based on that fact alone, but specific enough to ensure that it got the point across that it is a very large reputable company.

yes.... I'm not even going to write a current update of the situation.. has been a week from hell....to sum it up....>>

I asked my doc to give me another week off cause I went back to work and was in to much pain, so he said he'd write me a letter to take the rest of the week off (this was on a friday), so i called back Mon. nurse said she'd ask the doc what to write on it, and they'd fax it in.... I called back thurs. to see if my employer got the note.. NOPE, called the doc and asked wtf was goin on... the NURSE said, "the doc said he's not writing you a note"....... so we went back and forth with a bunch of "he said, you said" thing, and I had to go into the office and wait for over an hour just to talk to the doc for 2 min. and get a note

so then, is this a work appointed doctor? And is it a workmans comp case!?! If so.. know their best intrest is to get YOU back to work ASAP. GO get a second opinion now!

Well, he gets 2 private doctors, each can branch out, ie; specialists, therapy, etc.

Problem is, the doctor he went to is an IMR(independent medical review), his job is to give you a clean bill of health regardless.

You would need to act because once the claim is closed you would basically have to re-injure yourself.

I intern w/ a worker's comp attorney, pm me if you need any suggestions.(Disclaimer - I'm not offering any legal advice what-so-ever).

hahaha... Well as I said I tried to go back, took off another week (post a doctors note for another week) and workmans comp said they would still pay me for the week I took off, AFTER my doc initially released me... Everything is worked out now I guess... it was just hell going through it, and NONE if it should have occured in the first place.

My only issue now is I got sent home a week before my surgery BECAUSE at that point, my case got denied, so now I am trying to get paid for that week, but workmans comp said that's up to my employer, and my employer is sayin they couldn't have an injured employee working, EVEN WITH A DOC NOTE, since it "wasnt a work related injury (AT THAT TIME)".... so im kinda trapped.
