My DOCTOR could mean me losing my job!!! WTF!!

also sucks cause I had a real good rep. at this place, and now this is like, "haha, took off a whole week and said I had a note, BUT NOW I DON'T!".... and I just thought of this....the doc didn't even call me to tell me he wasnt going to write it, after I already have been off the entire week!

well this is mostly my doc F-in me over with this whole sayin he was gonna write me a note excusing me for the week... My employee can only let me do what he tells me I can and can't do. .....whole situation is just really F-in frusterating

It is fucking EMPLOYER, not EMPLOYEE

You have screwed that up at least 3 times in the thread and even after others have spelled it correctly

They should fire you for being stupid I say!

carry on

Should have scheduled an appointment instead of calling. Thats suspicious imo. My company might not be "top ranked" but they do understand and respect me. Maybe its cause im a "top ranked" employee //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

New Dr IMO I don’t let my employees out sick for more then two days without a note. They have to have a note in order to return to work. Now if the person does not have a habit of this sort of thing I do have the authority to allow this person back on merit alone. In this case I would want a note due to the time involved. Matter a fact I would have wanted the note from day one of being notified of the long term leave. This way you get the note and there is no problem like you have now. Now it’s a big he said she said war.

MY guess is you spent the last week telling your job that you have a note, don’t worry I got one, it's coming right now boss. And now NOTHING. You know how many times a manger hears that in his life time? Who is he to know what is true and what is not. Never leave this sort of stuff in another persons hands. ALWAYS follow up and keep following up to ensure your own *** is covered. That dr is going to have a job in the morning if he gives you that note or not so you have to be the one making sure things are in order. If that means going to another dr then that’s what should have been done. Sucks I know but at least it would have been taken care of.

What company u werk for?

Schedule an appointment with a different doctor to get a second opinion (or a follow up appointment with your current doctor if you won't have to pay anything for a follow up and money is a concern). That should get you the note you need.
X2. Most of the time doctors make you schedule another appointment before they give you another excuse.

So my advice would be to schedule an appointment with a different doctor like DejaWiz said.
