i currently own a cda-9885, and i have a set of AQ SD2.5's w/ the AQ1200D amp en route.

I'm still deciding on my comps/amp combo... your setup looks pretty nice... but is it really worth it to shell out the extra cash on the alpine comps/amp... i've been leaning towards the cadence CWM-6KIT's and a TXA-3002...

Setup came out pretty **** good, everythings back together although we just need to figure out the sub box situation. The subs currently in a 1.2^3 sealed sitting on his back seat. x3 for him to get the pics up, lol.

I have quiet a few more pictures but it wont let me upload anymore right now. So ill just tell ya whats going on. The install was perfect nothing went wrong accept for we killed my battery on accident and i had to go buy a new one for 130 bucks (800 amp cold crank) but other than that everything is running pretty sweet. We had to take out all of the seats in the whole truck and remove a shit load of screws to get the carpeting up so we could run the wire. We did a modification to my backseat as well, drilled the holes a tad bit bigger and threw a 2x4 in there and lifted the back seat an extra 2 inches for the amps. I have to get more pictures in the daylight but bear with the crappy quality these were all taking form my iPhone. The only issue now is how were going to get a good box set up in this thing.

Ok weve got a problem! I think my right woofer might have blown...When at low volume it sounds just fine but when i turn it up fairly loud it starts to make a crackling noise kinda like putting sand in a jar and twirling it around i geuss. But it it only seems to do it when there at high excursion. Im thinking that maybe one of the screws from the mount have come loose or maybe the doors side panel is touching it somehow but it sounds really bad and you can definately notice it. ****it this sucks 1 day of having it finished up and a speaker is already blown. We set the high pass for 80hz and all day today it sounded great but towards the end of the day it started gettin pretty bad. Ill try to get a video of the sound it makes with our camera but theres no gaurantee youll be able to hear it that well. Im slightly pissed off now but this could be my fault. i was really impressed with these components. but im a tad bit upset with em now. The tweeters are definately amazing but the woofers seem to have some issues. It may be the tuning but i cant say for sure. I hope ill be able to get an RMA for the speaker..

got the RMA for my woofer tomorrow. hopefully theyll send me a new one.
