their motors are a lot bigger in person and as far as power.. i'd say 1500-2000 is plenty per woofer.., their issue is heat imo rather than an issue with the cones. But hey, it's a prototype..

they'd make excellent burp subs i'm sure. Lots of strength in the right hands. I am so glad i found these 15s I posted, seems to be a tc9 type motor but all the other tc9s i've found have shiny backplates where mine are more.. a brushed alum look.
