Well its shitty out.

I decided that the door panels are getting cut some more. Forget the blending I'm gonna wrap the panel and go that route. I seem to have to shave more and more to get clearance from the dash. In doing so I lose mounting capability.

I'm just gonna mount the ring to the door and build the panel around it. I win! A little more work than thought but it will look sweet with a smooth door.

Well I think I'm coming to the conclusion I might go the BL route instead of BTL's

I'm thinking the BTL is more than I need quite honestly. I just want some bass for everyday and I'm not trying to get any numbers. Seems like a good idea to me......?

Well I haven't been taking pics lately. Nothing to really show just yet.

I did go out and buy some Box making wood! Now if they would just let me at the subs I could get those on the way also.

I'll have some pics up this week of my progress if you cared....lol

lol... I know man I just have been bouncin all over and this week sucked weather wise.

I made some RCA's for my amp rack. They need some tech flex but they will do for now. They work and I can make em any length. Sweet it was fun too. Just a couple more pair to go.

I pretty much have the baffle mounted the way its gonna work. I have to crack down and do the drivers side door and its easier cuz I know right where to go. A good days work and I will knock that out. I'm going to end up making my own panels after I get to jam to them.

Just a little temp sealing left to do and clamping the wire harness to the door. I have to deaden the patches also.

The panel for the amp rack is started just a little more glass and some sanding. I will probably do bedliner on this as well as the sub box.

I'm gonna throw down on the console and front stage to get that making noise while I wait for the subs to become available. Everything is pretty much setup in a days work on each project. I don't have much to show just yet...lol

I have a new vision.

The amp rack panel above is going away. I don't like it. I want it all to be seen.

The metal rack also is going away. I have a new idea for that.

Well I got some more stuff done.

I have to make cup holders and remove the console to assemble it but I mocked it up today and I like it. I'm going to take it out when I'm finished making my RCA cables and can lay all the wire after I deaden the floor.

I have started the box for the BTL's finally

Probably more box work tomorrow. The cup holders to if I remember where I put the stuff to make em...lol

I'm gonna deaden the floor and do wire runs this weekend. Ordering the next sub next week.

nice build.....i will ask which tweeters you are using, and coupled with the mids etc. how loud do they get?

I have a new system in the works and am wanting my higher end to be extremely loud yet still detailed.

There's 50 watts on each driver. The tweeter shown is a TangBand 25-1166S. (current photo is the MB Quart)

The tweeter is good sounding. A little soft. I threw an MB Quart in there to try out its a little brighter in the house but its 8ohm. I will try those. The CDT CL4 is sweet up there. The vocals are most praised by listeners. I like it too.

The CDT's are cutoff at 4000hz and its lovin it....lol It gets quite loud but I didn't have everything put to it yet.

Yeah I only get a few hours before work and no garage. Gotta start where I can when I can. The neighbor lets me use the woodshop thats about the only place I get the big stuff done.

Just trying to make some noise before the kid arrives and do all the finish work on my down time. Its bass season and I need to be out...lol

This coming weekend the seats are coming out, the deadener is getting laid, and some interior wire runs.
