When they gonna move this to the BUILD thread I wonder?

The door is deadened. Except where the speaker will be since I have to cut. Gotta run up to the hardware and grab some flashing for the holes of course. I also have luxury liner from a Limo shop for free so I will use that on the doors as well.

This is the idea basically. Just some cut to fit and paint to match left on that.

Heat gun. The more pliable you make it the bigger the pieces you can use.

I ran up to the hardware and grabbed some aluminum.

Then I went out and threw some tape on to make a pattern...

Peeled it off and transfered to my aluminum...

Proceeded to cut it out...

A little RTV to maker bond a little and seal some...

Drilled holes and riveted....

And had to make extra cuts here and there and have to compromise and make some other pieces for the hinge bars and such. This is where I stop for the day.

Sho nuff! One other treatment of limo head liner too. Nothing like Second Skin its thinner but has closed cell backing and will the do the trick.

My buddy is back from the cruise so its on this week boys!

There is so much I can do now I don't know where to start...lol Theres an amp rack here an amp rack there. Console here, 8's going there, wire possibly this week, 2nd bat around the corner, some supplies.....

I gotta get up 2 hours earlier than normal just to get stuff done before work. I'm drywalling the bathroom too. I am tired as shat!

The June meet better not be a flop. I'm waiting til May for the subs since there is supposed to be a new version. The box will get built around then also. I may do away with the subfloor and make a carriage for the box instead.
