Op thinks his mono block is a 2 channel. I don't think anything else needs to be said. He proved his point.
One of them actually is a 2 channel and one is already internally bridged from my understanding. Depends on if it's the newer or older model I think. There's the 3000d, 3001d and the 30001d. Either way, they're both crap and simply two of the 1500s crammed in a different heat sink.Op thinks his mono block is a 2 channel. I don't think anything else needs to be said. He proved his point.
Yep.One of them actually is a 2 channel and one is already internally bridged from my understanding. Depends on if it's the newer or older model I think. There's the 3000d, 3001d and the 30001d. Either way, they're both crap and simply two of the 1500s crammed in a different heat sink.
Like I said, 95% of the reviews online ore positive. Not 1 report of any fires or amps blowing preamturely, a couple of DOA's. So audiopipes are the only amps that catch fire? I bet I could find a picture of a burnt sundown, kicker, incriminator amp. What does that prove? It caught on fire in front of someone on this forum... Buck has nothing to gain by saying they catch on fire, so why would he lie?
Explain this hellish nightmare as well -
I don't choose sides on this nonsense but you should never compromise on quality, you always get what you pay for, especially in car audio.

I worked as an installer and we installed a lot of audiopipe. I cannot begin to count the number of DOA's that we've had from audiopipe. It's just cheap, simple as that. It works, but it's cheap. AP=kia as say sundown or dd=lexus.
Well say I drove a Lexus or something like that and I called your car a piece of **** because it has a much worse reliability than my car. Would that offend you?A 2004 Ford Taurus. Why does it matter?
I actually wouldn't care because the car was a giftWell say I drove a Lexus or something like that and I called your car a piece of **** because it has a much worse reliability than my car. Would that offend you?
What if i try to make you feel like an ignorant ******* because you got that instead of a Lexus?
I actually wouldn't care because the car was a gift
And there's a difference. A Taurus is a reliable car proven to last upwards of 300k miles if treated properly with very few repairs. I guarantee it's more reliable than your lexus. An AudioPipe amp is simply not made to be reliable, it's made to be cheap and disposable.
When you put 300k miles on your Lexus without replacing everything under the hood, let me know.LOLOL. I can see my lack of knowledge in in car audio is overwhelmingly trumped by your lack of knowledge in automobiles.
Meh this argument is getting stale.
To me this amp is like an '88 mustang gt. I like to go fast in a straight line and it is great for that. You might want something more refined, like a porsche, and you can justify the cost in your mind, and I don't have a problem with that.
But don't spout to the world that mustangs are pieces of **** and not worth the money, that's a douchebag move, especially when 95% of the people out there just want to go fast.
Once again, show me your Lexus with 300k miles and I'll be impressed. My uncle had a Taurus that finally died at 350k, my friend has one with 240k, and mine has 150k. The latter two are still running smooth with minimal repairs. Most Dependable Manufacturers
