My gians are set as if i had a 1ohm Nominal impeadance. 800w*1.5 = 34.6 instead of 28.3.

That is ported, 6cuft@27Hz....look at 27Hz, you'll see a lil jump, the rest is just due to the Ava's reletively high inductance.

****, with out a clamp...it sounds kinda confusing...the whole...place the resistor in series with the speaker terminals part....is that saying I just put the resistor across the terminals???

but boooooo! I just want it to sound like everything it has been brought out to be...which I believe it does...and I also believe that Im not getting the true sound of it.. I just want to find something that sounds louder than that **** Eclipse sub I heard....because the SQ was greaat...It hit real tight, which is what I like...so much that at even lower volumes it still put pressure on my ears.

I highly doubt you'll hear THAT big of a difference just because of impedence rise.

ok, as far as the box is concerned.....besides having a leak in the box...is there any other reason why the box wouldnt perform...I tried to round all the corners as much as I could with bondo ( i know, not the best way...but better than none right) I blew a 100 amp fuse so I believe that means that Im pushing around 1000 watts to it...didnt sound like it was getting distorted at that point.
