muffler delete on my GTO

I shudder to think how loud that GTO will be without mufflers. I blew the y pipe on my Crown Vic college hooptee, and it was loud as fark. Sounded like a dang big rig downshifting.

I also developed a hole in my 97 Civic's tailpipe about the size of a quarter. It was loud, but not as loud as those fools who add fart cannons to their Civics.....

IIRC, Pypes makes a muffler delete kit for most modern day muscle cars.

I have magnaflow mufflers with resonator delete marauder tips on my grand marquis and its not overly loud, but without mufflers or with the cherrybombs most cars sound like ***, they dont have a tone its just blah.

I would get a cut-out if I could afford it. Loud as $hit when you want it, quiet when you don't. Plus, with a cut-out open, exhaust flows much more freely.

some dude in Auburn has a procharged GTO with straight pipes.....Sounds very very mean but I would find it annoying on highways or interstates

I would as long as it legit... Corsa exhausts are usually $$$$ so your saving a big chunk of change.

Actually if its an axleback I have no idea what they go for. I cant find any...

If you're in NJ like me, I'd go with that axle back or save for a cat back. When I started modding my old car a couple years ago I had so much trouble from inspection stations. And in NJ you really can't get stickers anymore from shops, it's srs business now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

But yeah, save yourself the headache. Also, being that it's a daily driver you will be a huge cop magnet. But if you don't have problems with the above, it's really up to you. If YOU like the sound of it then do it.
