I just got it for the ps3. It's pretty nice. In this one you can ride in tanks in the multiplayer mode. If you were a super Modern Warfare fan, you should find a lot to like here. It's a lot like Modern Warfare, but different enough to make it worth buying. Not just some new boards and a new gun or 2. Anybody else pick it up? What do you think about it?

ive got it, its decent. I like COD4 a little more, but since im bored outta my mind with 4 this is good because its something different, its deffenitily not better than 4 though, not really worse though, just different

I'm a lot better at Resistance 2, but I'm not really far in that either. First COD5 game they threw me in the middle of a Team Deathmatch. I had 1 kill 8 deaths and an assist. I suggest setting up a private match and learning the boards a little before jumping in. You gonna get ***** if you don't.

I like it, especially how theres more free multiplayer maps. At least it seems like it cause I havnt counted. Some are freakin big tho.

I dont like how it seems to take longer to level up, how it can take 4 shots from the m1 garand to kill a guy (with the flash thing on), and ESPECIALLY how the mi carbine is the last gun to get. Come on, it was my favorite gun in DOD.

I got it last night, and so far its really good, takes some getting use to because of the whole wwII gun thing, but its more realistic then COD4 and i love cod4 but world at war is more real you got to be ready!

^eff ya, i was playing it all day yesterday and man, what a mind **** to have to memorize all these new super detailed maps. I like 4 better just cause im not a real old war fan. But its still super cool to see limbs and shit blow off.

I thought that till I got in the tank and played the online co op. I liked 4 because I played the shit out of it. I knew my spots and everything. I'm sure with a little time, I'll be ok in this one too. Somebody that just spray and prayed may not like the guns, and there is no helicopter in this one. With the 7 kill streak you get to sic dogs on people.

When I was playing wireless I was getting dropped a lot and my ps3 sits in the same room as the modem. I just hooked it up wired, turned off my pc and I don't get any lag or dropped connections. If you can, try it like that.
