Mtx Sub and Amp ?

I was thinking about getting these subs

just wondering what you have heard about them.. I want subs that can be heard from a good distance away

also I was thinking about getting this amp with it

just want to know if that would work pretty good with those subs

Those subs are crap. But if it's your first system you won't know that anyway.

And if your only interest is being heard from a long distance away, then you won't care if they sound like shit anyway. So. Get them!

You will be heard from miles away!

Those subs are poopy, the amp is good though. I wouldnt even pair them up IMO...

def get the cvrs instead of the jackhammers. THose cvrs sound pretty good in that box and u got the perfect waTTAGE for them with that alpine amp. U can find them cheaper on egay, i think 2 for like 150 of something. Build ur own box or have some1 else build it for ya, alot of members make boxes here.

well i think i can spend up to 1400 bucks totalt with the cd head unit, amp, wiring, subs, and cap.

i just want a loud sub... .that shakes my whole car, and that can be heard from a long ways away...

between 300-450 bucks.. I would like them to be in a box already since im new to this and have no idea what i am doing

I esd MTX subs for my first sistem and i just didnt like them. if you dont really care much for sq try a 12" solobaric. or try looking into the RE subs they get loud and sound pretty good too.

if you want it loud get rockford fosgate even though they are expensive and you wont be able to hear it from far away anyway unless you have it ported and the trunk open or what kind of car is it going in? If its sealed you will only hear the trunk shaking and maybe hear the bass from a few meters away but thats it
