Anybody use the MTX Jack Hammer amps?

Do they do like 100,000 watts and weigh 400lbs like the woofer??

but they r the midrange series from mtx

thunder elite is the next step up

JH404 and JH600 are the one i was thinking about.

The JH series are pretty cheap, if you can get them cheap great, but I would recommend the TE series

They do decent power but are cheaply made. very light and weak metal. I screwed down a JH600 to a display board one time and it started whining, so i loosened a screw and it stopped. The Jackhammer series is nothing like the jackhammer 22. But the 22 doesnt even get that loud considering. Plus they burn up easily. The MTX Escalade that has 2 22's has had to recone them a few times. Like on mythbusters.

Wow, that sucks... isn't the JH600 a D-class amp. it should run cool anyway, right ?
