MTX 9500 Box Build!!!

i doubt this box will number that well... u have to master multiple sub setups like this, its not easy.
Doubt this is gonna wang like you want it to - but who knows... good luck with it either way!
yeah we will see , thanks.

A center divider would really help ya man, I think you were probably getting some cancellation that hurt your score without one.
well over the winter redesigning it how we talked about on aim.

but till then and since this is the last comp, this will have to do.

For the guy in our team that has 4 15s, thats where he was loudest.
yeah but where else would u put a port when u have 4 15's, lol.

I was told the same thing by shane, he told me to go get 4 15's and throw the port in the middle of the subs.

but to broke to even aford MDF right now let alone more audio stuff, hahaha.

once i get a vehicle strictly to SPL I will be buying a TL and hopefully have a good job by then to experiment alot with all different things.

George, shouldn't you rename the topic MTX 7500 box build pics then?!?!
no cause the only reason i was working on this box was because of the competition that got cancelled.

if u look at the first few pages u will see the box for the (2) 9500's.

wich will be finished sometime next week or the week after, not in to much of a rush on that since i still dont have the subwoofer in my hands.

use particle board //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

once u slap resin on it it works better than mdf.

proof?

every box I build //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

p-board with the big particles is what you want, much less flex than even comparable sized MDF. Has an earlier breaking point, but you'll never come close to it.

nice, sounds good, particle board for me from now on : ) i checked out the vids on your site, nice stuff.
just DO NOT get the stuff with the small particles... it has the same flexing properties of MDF but it breaks easier and flexes way more... that stuff is crap, and its why p-board has a bad name.

p-board is also very uneven, so it takes much more to get it painted.

Yea I saw that. Sure would like to see someone with 4 9500's....I think that would be kickass. But, I'd think you'd be the first to have 4....All I've seen is either one or two.
id love to, if i could afford it id deff do it.

but i know i wouldnt be the first, lol.
