Most powerfull sub in the world?

Appears to be the same setup. Its patented iirc.

The articulating blades are the mechanically difficult part of this design, but the heart of it has to be in the controls. They never show that part. Curious.

Is it windows based? Does it come with a little black box? Or does it take a suitcase sized controller? Again, Id be curious to see that aspect of this thing.

I remember reading a review about these a couple years ago, and they are **** impressive, theoretical frequency response down to 1 hz.

Properly installed (in your attic) this thing will chake your walls like they are paper...

The thing is, i think you would also need a regular sub to supplement in the higher low frequency, this thing just picks up the ultra low.

As for it being the most powerful sub in the world... i think thats not the best term....

i allways said if you want music buy a sub, if you want to move air buy a fan (or a solo-x)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Boiled down to the the acoustical basics, isn't making music just moving air ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

good to 25hz iirc.

It's theoretical frequency response should be flat down to 1hz. The reasoning behind that is that the pressure should be near equal because the pressure is directly related to the rotation of the blades (how fast the fan is spinning). The blades themselves oscillate giving you the different frequencies by creating pulses of increasing and decreasing pressure (just like a sub) but it is not limited by mechanical travel seeing that the fan can spin at a constant speed.

Exploding heads? Lets stay realistic here guys, its a freakin floor fan. lawl
straight from the ad...lol...

"Also, you don't want to actually have the TRW 17 in your main listening room (otherwise your head will explode like the guy in the Simpsons THX trailer)."

Yeah, its not even for music. If you think about it, music dies off below 30Hz. This is for the elite HT ***** who want the ultimate. As I understand it, theatrical companies who need/seek subsonic output are looking at these...
