Most powerful 2 channel head unit?

I'm getting a new/old car and don't have the time or money to run wiring and setting up an amp and so forth, so I just want to run the front speakers off my head unit.

Taking a quick look, is there anything more powerful then 22watts rms? It's going in a 2001 Cavalier.

Nope. Head units arent designed to power speakers loudly. They are a mass market give some power but not alot kind of thing.

Best thing you can do for headunit without installing an actual amp is getting an alpine headunit that is compatible with their power packs.

They sell a version of the power pack that can be used with any head unit also.

I'd recommend that since all of the wiring is directly from your head unit and you can even mount it behind/inside your dash where your head unit is. I believe it also gets power and everything directly from the head unit's power source.

Well thats neat. Im surprised they havnt used the room in the second din area yet for some kind of amp built into the head unit that can push more than what we get in normal Hu's.
