Notice how the cop kind of steps to the side and the dog doesn't follow. You can tell he didn't really seem to afraid of the dog, it just seemed like he just didn't want to put up with it.
remaining calm is not just shooting at something that isnt attacking.there is no way you can tell that from the video, especially since he is a trained police officer who often remain somewhat calm under duress. I'm not saying the dog deserved it, but i think that there is enough reasonable doubt that they won't convict him
they do if they are highly trained not to panic....Weren't you in the Army? You should know that sometimes under duress, highly trained people don't really think but let their body take over. I've been to war and sometimes i wasn't even thinking...just let your body acthmmm, he definitely wasnt "attacking" the officer, he never even touched him
then you already know this. if someones scared they dont casually back up like that. He was way too nonchalant to be "in danger". completely unjustified.
Well if he was afraid of his life, like they said in the video, I sure as hell wouldn't of stood there calmly. Have you watched videos where a man is charging the cop? They don't shoot him unless he has a weapon./ And if he does have a weapon, they shoot him immediately. The cop that is being charged usually is scared and doesn't remain nearly as calm as he did if he was afraid for his life.there is no way you can tell that from the video, especially since he is a trained police officer who often remain somewhat calm under duress. I'm not saying the dog deserved it, but i think that there is enough reasonable doubt that they won't convict him
doesnt work for everyone. should also be trained to recognize what level of force is needed. But as a lot of my threads show, police officers are lacking a lot of judgment.they do if they are highly trained not to panic....Weren't you in the Army? You should know that sometimes under duress, highly trained people don't really think but let their body take over. I've been to war and sometimes i wasn't even thinking...just let your body act
I still say he should not have shot the dog tho...i woulda kicked it or sprayed it
Or the taser
i don't remember either ...i only listened for the 4 words i really hatedwhat was is called in the army? escalation of force?
i dont remember
I think he made a mistake. He should learn from his mistake, but no sense in wishing a painful death upon a man.poor dog, that shit pisses me off to no end. I really hope his death is a painful one when his time comes.
