more midbass??!!

my doors are matted and everything, but the midbass doesnt hit like most stock cars do. my gf rented a 2005 mustang this weekend and the midbass was insane compared to mine. Any ideas?

Well right now, Im only running some cheap 6.5" pioneer coaxials off my eclipse hu, no tuning yet. but Im thinking that it has to hit harder than the stock setup in the mustang.

why? your stock speakers are getting the same power as the stock speakers. but the coxaes might be a bit more efficient but honestly i dont think you should be hearing a difference.

that mustang's a 05' man. I'd have to say new stock have impressive midbass. my bro's 04' TSX's midbass is not lacking at all.

maybe my standards are lower than most, but i'd say stock midbass nowadays is not bad at all. but that's just me.

i would think that when you hop into a car that really ha ssome midbass, you will think otherwise.
