Impendence rise question

[CJL 10+ year member]

My amp is rated @ 1ohm but if i wire a 0.5ohm(to try to get more output)to it after impendence rise would it be ok,or should i just stick with a 1ohm load? BTW its a Planet Audio BB1250.1 amp

I have seen people run the 2250D at .5 ohms all day, but I dont know about the 1250 model.

It might be okay, it might not. It all depends on the actual impedance rise you get in the vehicle. Try it, if you go easy on the gain it should go into protect mode before anything is damaged.
