sounds about right. If you have the time, after you install the amp, try hooking 2 subs to it and see if it has the output you want. Then try with 3 and see what sounds best to you.333w per sub? I didnt realize it worked that way. So because im running two now at 600w each sub is really getting 300W?so to max it out i would need something that put out 2100W at 2.67 Omhs?!?! Jesus.
Not necessarily (sp?), power is not going to directly equate to how "hard" they hit. If it were me, I would try it both ways, as in my previous post.So i imagine with that amp 2 10" would actually hit harder than 3?
I see, well i would hate to throw away the money to build a box for three and then it not be a big improvement ya know? Wood is really expensive here.sounds about right. There are wuite a few setups that don't use much power and get very loud. It is all install dependant. Ultimately, if it is loud to you and is what you want, who cares if you only ran 50 rms to 'em. As long as your happy, don't get too caught up in the numbers game.
Are you going ported or sealed?I see, well i would hate to throw away the money to build a box for three and then it not be a big improvement ya know? Wood is really expensive here.
