mono amps or 2 chanel amp for sub?

I'm running 1 13w7 right now but is debating on changeing the amp. i currently have an orion 1200d mono block amp 2003 series. it goes down to 1 ohm stable at 1200 watts. Ive seen some amps thats 2 chanel and bridge able. is it better to stick with a one chanel mono for sub powering or should i get 2 chanel and bridge it?

stay with the orion for sure almost all 2 channel amps are only stable to 4 ohms when bridged and there no easy way of acheiving that with a w7
