my god. the bracing. i've never seen so much.
How big is that box?
The box is only 1 cu ft per woofer , and the woofers are 12" Alumapro Alchemy MX ...... The bracing ensures I only hear the drivers , and not the box itself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ill be the first to tell you all that bracing was completely unneccesary. My box is like twice bigger and has no bracing but doesnt flex at all. But at least you now KNOW it will never flex, even if a minature sun implodes and forms a black hole inside of it.

Touch the outside of your box when your bass is hitting ...... Do you feel it vibrating at all ? Of course you do , because it is flexing and vibrating. This is why JL builds their enclosures EXTREMELY heavy and thick ....... You would be shocked to know how much internal pressure is going on inside a sealed box with 1000 watts going to it !! JL Audio has a video of a box exploding ... literally.

I dont think I have ever seen so much bracing. but it is a nice enclosure. hope it sounds good you'll have to let us know.

also why did you start a new thread? when you could have posted on the other thread.

I brace ALL of my enclosures (most with threaded rod- just works best IMO). Very nice construction on the box. I also checked out your other thread and I love what you did with the amps- I think it looks awesome.

Very nice work.

I'm not overly thread savvy ..... It took me two hours to figure out how to make the pictures work ..... Sorry if I offended someone with multiple posts.

true I guess there is a lot more pressure in a sealed box opposed to ported like mine. Also, where can I find the video of this box exploding? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

there's more air pressure in a ported enclosure than a sealed.
