Yea, bracing can make a nice difference, and it's pretty much manatory with some very high performance subs. If you want a great example of how much a box is flexing, turn up the bass and lean your chin on one of the panels. *wowsers!*

Nice job man , and clean looking too !! Some of the best speakers I have EVER heard are B&W Matrix home speakers ... and you should SEE the **** bracing in those cabinets !!!!!!
