Mids/Highs Cutting out...Help Please

I Hate the Tarheels
Last night I did an install of my new set up and have run into a couple of different problems....

My setup consisted of a hdc315, zenon(2200watts @1), jl e 4300, memphis pr comps, and a Stinger SP1000 in the back.

When driving if a certain bass hits, the highs will all of a sudden drown out to where you can barely hear them. I thik my SP1000 is not charged up much and think that may be the problem, but there is no dimming and when the highs go out the sub still stays going

Could anyone please help with any ideas?

Thanks

no dimming or voltage drop?

sounds like exactly what you said.

when the bass hits, it drowns out the mids/highs.

your sub overpowers the vocals and distorts them?

ok???
a little confused, but another alt or battery?
I was responding to how to help your front stage keep up with your sub stage.

We don't know if it's an electrical problem until you put a DMM on the JL amp and tell us if the Voltage is dropping.
