So this amplifier won't power up, I check mosfets they are shorted they were buz11a I used alltransistors.com and found Irfz44n can be used as substitute so I drop them in also a semi conductor was blown 2sc2235 so I replaced that with an original part and tried to power the amp up got nothing when I double checked the mosfets they were shorted.so there is a little pcb board in the power supply so I'm wondering what could be the problem I'm not a big technician but ik my way around electrical... I need some assistance plz have this amp put down for about a year or 2 and I want to repair it. Also on the pcb board in the power supply section there is a sg3524 modulator chip but I don't know how to check it to see if it's functioning properly, and there is no output voltage on the other half of the transformer and no output voltage from gate pins on fets

That amp can't possibly be worth the cost or trouble of trying to repair.

DIYaudio.com may be a better place for help with amp repair troubleshooting. There's a somewhat active board there for that. You may need an O-scope to properly test IC chips though.

Uhmm what does that have to do with fixing the amp my self?

The point is that the guys who are good enough to help with more complicated repairs do it professionally. They don't work for free and likely they won't come on here in their spare time and diagnose problems for fun.

Really, apart from just replacing parts until it works what can you do?
