The main problem will be adapting to the cars electrical system, the current out of the generator is going to be HV to drive the motor, and my guess would be that the 12v portion of the system is going to be the same as any other car of its size, maybe a bit larger. You cant add alternators and adding batteries would'nt be very effective. Without a factory service manual to determine the specs of the electrical system I wouldnt do anything more than a small amp and sub.

well i just got back from the shop where my niece bought everything (2.5 hours each way), i walked in there with my cousin (nothing like 2 huge irish guys to liven your day up) and i explained that my niece was talked into a system that was WAY too big for her car and that I wanted to return EVERYTHING (almost 6k i might add, which was charged on her American Express card jesus).

Firstly the guy tells me there is a no return policy, then after some careful word selection he tells me that they aren't able to refund all the money today and there is a re-stocking fee, then after more words exchanged no with m cousin involved we got the re-fund on EVERYTHING.

on the way back home i stopped off at a shop in town and got her 2 sets of Morel ovations (on sale for $390 a set) which will be in, in a few days. and the guy who was there told me he had a BNIB Zapco 360.4 for sale for $300 cash, so i will be checking that out later tonight...things are already looking better...gonna look into some nice 8's or a good 10' MAYBE A 12"

now the whole deal with the wiring and everything, holy moly

yah guy was lying out his *** on the no return policy, piece of shit.

especially with that amount of money essentially screwing someone over with something that will never be able to go in their car.

i know man, what an ordeal...i felt so bad for my niece, she had to stand there why this guy was telling me she wanted all this stuff, he was trying to embarrass the hell out of her...didnt work tho...

agh man, im just glad we got it taken care of for her, i was going to keep the 300/4 and the quarts, but then i figured screw em they ***** this girl, they dont deserve the sale...

I agree, the dickk smoker shouldn't have took advantage of a customer lacking knowledge in car audio. He should have asked, what type of sound are you looking to get out of your car audio system? Not just see //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif and sell her a $6K sound system. Like you said, maybe a sealed 10" or maybe a 12' since she is bass hungry, with a nice set of comps.

Selling her all JL Audio, he needs an azz whippin' and needs to go sell car audio in automotive at Wal- Mart. What a douche.
